Breast Friends Foundation of Osborne & Mitchell Counties was founded in 2012. With the desire to help those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, Dee Winkel and Chelsi Remus held the first meeting on January 26, 2012. From there, a team of volunteers and members emerged.

The goal of the foundation is to assist and morally support those who have been diagnosed with a cancer.  It started out with the idea of specifically helping those with breast cancer.  After realizing the need in their counties for other cancer's, the foundation has decided to help those with any cancer.

Breast Friends Foundation plans to help those who are fighting by simple encouragement. Such as, sending cards or flowers to those who are going through treatment.  They want to emphasize their motto 'No One Fights Alone'.  Most definitely, they want those who are being treated to know that there are many standing behind them.

Eventually, they are planning great things.  For now, they are taking it step by step to climb the ladder of success for the foundation. More importantly, to benefit those who are being affected by cancer.
